Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders for students in elementary school (K-5th grade)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to support students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Implement and monitor progress in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and assist in AAC assessments
- Work effectively with students with autism, delivering targeted support in LEAP and CLC programs
Requirements:
- Valid Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License
- Experience with elementary-age students and familiarity with autism and AAC assessment/implementation is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in managing caseloads within elementary education settings, specifically those involving diverse learning needs
