- Cognitive disabilities
- Multiple disabilities
- Autism spectrum disorders
- Behavioral disorders
- Physical/health impairments
- Communication disorders
Our team-based instructional model creates a structured, nurturing, and responsive environment tailored to address the needs of the whole child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language pathologists, psychologists, social workers, and physical therapists.
- Utilize a tiered approach to service delivery to meet individual student needs.
- Adapt and modify instruction to align with Common Core State Standards and address students’ transition, vocational, and life skills.
- Contribute to a team-based model to foster students’ academic, social, and functional development.
- Support students in their transition from school to community living and work opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience or interest in working with students with diverse special needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
