I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Montebello, CA, working in a supportive school-based environment. As a School Psychologist, you’ll play a critical role in fostering student well-being and supporting mental health needs, while collaborating with school staff, families, and community resources. Here's a brief synopsis of the assignment and we do offer very competitive pay plus benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k) and get paid weekly via direct deposit!

Caseload Information: School Psychologist Preferably bilingual. The candidate will be based at District office and will travel to various sites as needed. They will be reimbursed for mileage. Complete assessments and provide in person Designated Instructional Services (DIS)counseling. DIS is designed for students participating in special education students who struggle with various facets (e.g., social skills, executive functioning, motivation, mood management) that interfere with accessing their education and make progress toward IEP goals. provide support with DIS counseling and assessments and functional behavioral assessments (FBA). FBA is a process for gathering information about behaviors of concern, whether the behaviors are academic, social or emotional. Academic-related behaviors could be not completing homework assignments or class work.
IMPORTANT: candidates must be comfortable, or have experience, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA). Psychologists are trained in FBA's. Most seasoned psychologist have the experience, but not first year graduates.
Core hours: 8:30 am-4:30pm
