Position Title: General Education Teacher (Grades 2nd & 5th)
Start Date: Immediate
End Date: May 23, 2025
Hours: Full-Time (8 hours per day)
Pay: $33.00 and up (based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate General Education Teachers for two of our campuses in Memphis. We have openings for the following grade levels:
  • 5th Grade Math Teacher 
  • 2nd Grade Teacher 
This is a full-time, in-person teaching position that requires a strong commitment to student success and engagement in a dynamic classroom setting. If you’re a licensed teacher with a passion for working in diverse and supportive school environments, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with state standards and district policies.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students in both large and small group settings.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and success.
  • Assess student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and tests, and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with other educators, staff, and administrators to support student development.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and school events.
Qualifications:
  • Required Credentials:
    • Valid TN Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior teaching experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
    • Ability to engage and motivate students.
    • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Additional Information:
  • Start Date: Immediate.
  • End Date: May 23, 2025.
  • Work Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
  • Work Location: In-person 
  • Caseload: To be determined based on student needs.
