Cross Country Education, in partnership with Ednovate, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join the team at Esperanza College Prep. This role involves providing direct in-class support to students with mild to moderate disabilities, focusing on inclusive and collaborative education.

This is a full-time position offering benefits and 401 K, available on school days, with competitive compensation based on experience.

Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate)
Case Management Support – In-Person
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90022
Start Date: November 25, 2024
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Salary: $60.00 per hour
Bonuses:

$800 Christmas Break Bonus
$500 Spring Break Bonus

Specialization: Mild/Moderate Special Education with Case Management Support

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver push-in special education services to students.
Work collaboratively with general education teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
Support case management duties later in the spring, including IEP documentation and student progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

Credentialed Special Education Teacher with Mild/Moderate specialization.
Prior experience in an inclusive educational setting, with skills in case management.
Strong communication and collaborative skills
