Pay Rate: Based on experience
School Zip Codes: 32778 (multiple sites with varied zip codes)
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (to cover multiple locations)
Start Date: November 14, 2024
End Date: May 29, 2025 (with possible extension to ESY)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (35 hours/week) Hours vary dependent upon site
Position Overview
We are seeking three dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support Elementary and Middle School locations in the Tavares/Umatilla/Mount Dora areas. This role can be 3 part time positions or can be full time if willing to travel to 2 schools or can do 3 days at 1 school and 2 days at the other.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual and small-group speech and language therapy to children within preschool and daycare environments.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child.
- Document progress, update treatment goals, and maintain accurate records in compliance with PA DOE standards.
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and staff to ensure continuity of care and support children’s development in speech and language skills.
- License: Active FL Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Experience: Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with a compassionate approach to supporting children’s development.
