Position Details:
We are hiring school counselors for both elementary and high school settings within Loudoun County Public Schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to support student development through guidance, emotional support, and academic counseling.

Key Details:

Grade Levels: Elementary & High School
Student Caseload: 90-250 students, depending on the school
Schedule: 7.5 hours per day, plus a 30-minute lunch (7:30 a.m. - 2:15 p.m., though timing may vary slightly by school)
Contract Dates: August 27, 2024 - June 13, 2025; counselors may be required to start 1-2 weeks earlier

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $38 per hour

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in school counseling from an accredited institution
Active Virginia School Counseling License or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) issued by the Virginia Department of Health
