Pay Rate: $25.00 and up-depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic coaching and support to high school students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Assist students in achieving their academic goals by providing individualized support and guidance.
- Support classroom teachers with instructional activities and ensure students are engaged and progressing in their coursework.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Attend mandatory orientation classes and trainings (virtual and on-site).
- Complete compliance-related tasks, including background checks.
- Required Education: Minimum of 48 college units or an Associate’s Degree.
- Experience: Prior experience working with students in a special education setting is a plus but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Compliance: All candidates will be required to complete an Early Childhood Education (ECE) background check, as well as an additional background check and fingerprinting provided by the client (after an offer is made and accepted).
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Locations: Positions available at the following sites:
- Aurora Mall Site, CO 80012
- Brighton Site, CO 80601
- Lakewood Site, CO 80214
- Virtual Orientation: Four days of virtual orientation training will be provided, including equipment shipped to the staff member a week prior to starting.
- On-Site Shadowing: Start date includes shadowing at the assigned site prior to attending virtual orientation.
- Orientation Dates:
- November 11th, 2024
- December 9th, 2024
- January 15th or 27th, 2025 (must start by these dates).
- Initial Contract Length: 3 months.
- Potential for Permanent Placement: If the initial contract period is successful, a meeting will be held to discuss the possibility of converting to a permanent employee.
