Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team and support students with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will create an inclusive classroom environment, tailor lesson plans to individual learning styles, and collaborate closely with families, colleagues, and specialists. Position Details

Role: Special Education Teacher
Location: Gilroy, CA 95020; Watsonville, CA 95076; Hollister, CA 95023
Age/Grades: PreK-8th grade available (placement determined during interview)
Case Load: 20 students in each class with 3 additional adult support staff
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break (37.50 hours per week)
Duration: Start ASAP through June 13, 2025 (flexible for short-term coverage if needed)
Compensation: based on experience

Key Qualifications

Certification: Valid CA Education Specialist credential
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum and students with mild/moderate disabilities
