LBS1 Special Education and Resource Teachers

Cross Country Education currently has openings for multiple Special Education Teachers (LBS1) in the Oak Lawn, Illinois area, and throughout the greater Chicago area. These are fulltime positions working 8am-4pm every school day. Below are a few of the current caseloads available:
 
  • K-5th grade, self-contained small caseload, moderate to severe 
  • 4-5th grade Cross Categorical self-contained
  • 5th/6th grade Resource, mild to moderate
  • High School inclusion, mild to moderate  
Candidates must possess a current Professional Educator’s license (PEL) with the Learning Behavior Specialist I endorsement for either Elementary or High School grade levels. We are open to new graduates who have received their licensure, and are looking to find a position that offers growth and support.

Cross Country Education is an W2 employer that offers:
  • $40.00 - $47.00 per hour (Estimated $57k-$68k annually)
