Job Post: Special Education Teachers at York Learning Center

Positions Available:

  1. Dual Diagnosis (K-3rd Grade)
  2. Emotional Support (K-3rd Grade)
  3. Early Intervention Preschool
    Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Overview:
Join the LIU12 Multiple Disability program at York Learning Center with Cross Country Education, where we focus on building academic and functional skills through research-based practices and individualized curricula. Our program is designed to help students K-3rd grade develop the skills they need to become as independent as possible, with a strong emphasis on fostering independent living skills at the secondary level to support successful transitions to adult life.

Qualifications:

  • Valid PA Teaching Certification in Special Education (PK-12 or PK-8) is required.
  • Experience with students with special needs is preferred.
  • We will consider applicants with teaching certifications in other areas and/or relevant experience who are willing to obtain certification in Special Education.

Additional Information:

  • Weekly hours are approximately 35 hours, with some flexibility (about 30 minutes) in start and end times.
